Traffic Signal Communication Project

Scope of Work The awarded Contractor shall provide applicable services consisting of, but not limited to, the following (including a list of deliverables): 1. Review the Town’s existing traffic signal communications design proposal and make recommendations for improvements. 2. Review options for intelligent traffic control, provide cost estimates with pros and cons for each option and make a recommendation for the best option for the Town. 3. If needed locate and pot hole existing utilities in the project area and prepare a subsurface utility engineering report. 4. Prepare a plan submittal, and cost estimate with enough detail for a combined FIR/FOR meeting. 5. Prepare CDOT format construction plans and specifications and full contract documents for bid, estimated construction time, updated final cost estimate, written response to all questions during the bid phase, all addendums, and recommendation for awarding the construction contract to be presented to CDOT and the Town Board of Trustees. 6. Help the Town select a qualified installation contractor and implement the design. 7. Adhere to all requirements associated with receiving CDOT funding. 8. Ensure the project meets all CDOT environmental requirements.
