Description

Architecture and Design Services for Train Station/Transit Center Redesign. At the heart of the New Rochelle's unprecedented growth and change is the city's transit center - the New Rochelle regional-rail train station and Intermodal Transportation Center. The City of New Rochelle aims to radically rethink the train station and transit center to make it a visionary, attractive, convenient, pedestrian-oriented, and well-connected facility for the growing number of daily commuters and visitors in time for the launch of Penn Station Access by the MTA/MetroNorth Railroad in 2027. The City of New Rochelle seeks to engage professional architectural services to create conceptual and schematic plans for the station redesign and improvements to the transit center campus Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Contract term: Until Completed County(ies): All NYS counties Location: City of New Rochelle Transit Center This Request for Proposal (RFP) does not commit the City to award a contract, pay any cost incurred in the preparation of a proposal in response to this RFP or to procure or contract for services. The City intends to award a contract(s) on the basis of the best interest and advantage to the City and reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals received as a result of this RFP, to negotiate with any or all qualified proposers or to cancel this RFP in part or in its entirety, if it is in the best interest of the City to do so.
