Description

The Hurst-Euless-Bedford Independent School District (HEB ISD) is soliciting Qualification Statements (hereafter called Qualification Statements) for Construction Manager At-Risk per the Specifications/Scope of Work stated elsewhere in this solicitation document. Qualification Statements shall be submitted in an envelope marked on the outside with the Offeror's name and address and proposal number. Qualification Statements will be opened after the established deadline. Since this is a Two-Step process, pricing will not be received during Step One of this process. HEB ISD reserves the right to request interviews of the top responding firms based on questions scripted by the District, if needed. Pricing will be required of firms selected to participate in Step Two, which will be an interview based on questions scripted by the District. All Qualification Statements must remain open for 120 days from the opening date pending acceptance by HEB ISD. Notice of this Competitive Sealed Proposal opportunity is being issued electronically through the HEB ISD Purchasing webpage, so that all suppliers that are registered in the HEB ISD e-Bid system will receive this notice. This notice and opportunity is also being issued on the architect's page for posting of bid opportunities. Corgan Associates, Inc. is the architect of record and will serve as the design consultant for this project. HEB ISD reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and to waive irregularities or informalities as may be deemed in the District's interest. All questions will be directed to the technical/functional expert for response and included in any addendum or update to be distributed to all interested Offerors. This facilities are located as follows: LD Bell High School 1601 Brown Trail Bedford, TX 76054 Trinity High School 500 Industrial Blvd. Euless, TX 76039 The Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD is located in northeast Tarrant County, Texas, and encompasses 44.0 square miles. The school district's boundaries are not the same as municipal boundaries; therefore, Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD provides instructional services to children who live in portions of Hurst, Euless, Bedford, Fort Worth and Grapevine. There are 22,800 students in four (4) high schools, two (2) alternative schools, five (5) junior high schools, and 21 elementary schools. The Administrative offices are located at 1849 Central Drive, Bedford, Texas 76022. Other administrative and support facilities are located elsewhere in the District.
