Description | 1. Properly clean entire roof system per specification. 2. Repair all defects if roof system per manufacturers specification and NRCA. standards, three-course with Liquid Tec and reinforcement fabric. 2 gals/sq. embed fabric, then apply another 2 gals/sq. on top 3. Prime any asphalt mastic (within one year old) with Garla-Block per manufacturers specification. 4. Remove any existing walk pads. 5. Install polyester reinforcement fabric to all ponding water areas per manufacturers specification. 2 gals/sq., embed fabric, then apply another 2 gals/sq. on top, allow to cure. 6. Properly reattach all loose fasteners on any metal coping cap system. Replace any missing fasteners with slightly large that have a neoprene washer 7. Properly adhere any loose base flashing seams, wall flashing, curb flashing, etc. per manufacturers or NRCA guidelines with Green-Loc structural adhesive. 8. Remove all dried-out caulking at any term bar or counter flashing, install all new Tuff-Stuff caulking. 9. Cut back all deteriorated membrane at any metal edge on any roof, three-course with Liquid Tec coating and 6” wide Grip Polyester soft fabric to membrane and metal edge @ 2 gals/sq., embed Grip Polyester fabric, then apply another 2 gals/sq. on top, allow to cure. 10. Install Green-Loc adhesive to any membrane area at metal edge that is lifting, ensure a flat surface for coating, allow to cure. 11. Coordinate with Owner to shut down and cover all HVAC units with visqueen to prevent any odors from entering building. 12. Remove any dried coating, asphalt, etc. on any HVAC pan, coat with Liquid Tec at 2 gals/square. 13. Refill any pitch pockets with Seal-Tite sealant. 14. Coat all HVAC duct seams with Liquid Tec coat @ 2 gals/sq. 15. Install new walk pads, match existing locations, and at service side of all units. 16. Torch in new membrane (2 plies-base and cap) and installed lead flashing, at all internal and over-flow drains, repair all internal drains, replace all missing bolts, retorque all bolts, verify proper seal, etc. 17. Coat all seams with Liquid Tec @ 2 gals/sq., embed 4” grip polyester fabric into coating, apply another 2 gals/sq. on top of fabric, allow to cure. 18. Apply a base coat of Liquid Tec Base coat at 1 ½ gals. /sq. over the entire roof system per manufactures specification. Contractor must roll the product. 19. Apply a top coat of Liquid Tec top coat at 1 ½ gal/sq. over entire roof system per manufacturers specification. Contractor must roll product, spraying this product is not allowed. 20. Apply Tuff-Stuff caulking to any metal coping seams 21. Contractor to protect adjacent areas, and clean all drips and spills. 22. Contractor to install the owner supplied material. Any material or accessories required for the installation of the roof system is excess of the County provided material must be supplied by the Contractor. It is up to the contractor to determine the precise amount of material required for the completion of this project; and to provide excess material, as required. 23. Contractor to field verify all measurements, Owner is not responsible for any mistakes in any Eagle View reports provided. 24. Manufacturers Rep to provide job site inspections. 25. Liquid Tec must be rolled on, this product CAN NOT be sprayed. |
