Tree Planting and Maintenance Program

Requests for Proposals for the development and maintenance of a a tree planting and maintenance program for trees on privately owned land. The City is looking for proposals to design and operate a program to support tree canopy growth on private land in Boston. A non-profit organization would serve as the convener for a larger group of non-profits who would collaborate on an annual plan for tree planting, maintenance, and public education activities. This is the beginning of a long-term program to increase access to trees and their benefits while addressing the impacts of climate change as part of the City's urban forestry and climate resilience goals.
