Description

Sealed bids for the construction of Lancaster Corridor Parkway Improvements (#102192) ("Project") will be received by the City of Fort Worth Purchasing Office. GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK The major work will consist of the (approximate) following: enhanced landscaping, irrigation, and traffic control. PREQUALIFICATION Not applied. EXPRESSION OF INTEREST To ensure potential bidders are kept up to date of any new information pertinent to this project, all interested parties are requested to email Expressions of Interest in this procurement to the City Project Manager and the Design Engineer. The email should include the company's name, contact person and that individual's email address and phone number. Invitations with links to the web conferencing application will be distributed directly to those who have submitted an Expression of Interest. If a prebid conference is held, the presentation and any questions and answers provided at the prebid conference will be issued as an Addendum to the call for bids. If a prebid conference is not being held, prospective bidders can e-mail questions or comments in accordance with Section 6 of the Instructions to Bidders referenced above to the project manager(s) at the e-mail addresses listed below. Emailed questions will suffice as "questions in writing." If necessary, Addenda will be issued pursuant to the Instructions to Bidders. CITY'S RIGHT TO ACCEPT OR REJECT BIDS City reserves the right to waive irregularities and to accept or reject any or all bids. AWARD City will award a contract to the Bidder presenting the lowest price, qualifications and competencies considered. FUNDING Any contract awarded under this INVITATION TO BIDDERS is expected to be funded from revenues generated from Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone #8 (Lancaster Corridor TIF) reserved by the City for the Project and an Interlocal Cooperation Agreement between the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) and the City of Fort Worth.
