Description

The Arkansas Department of Transportation is proposing an interstate that would connect Highway 76 from Walnut Ridge to the Missouri state line. Three different routes are being proposed for I-57 and would add 40 miles of roadway. The project is anticipated to cost $400-600 million A decision is expected to be reached by 2022 As of July 12, 2022, environmental clearances are to be obtained by the end of 2022. Funding is still needed for this project. A timeline for construction has not been determined.
