Resiliency and Economic Development Initiative (REDI) Funded Infrastructure Improvements and the Flood Damage Shoreline Stabilization

For the construction of the Resiliency and Economic Development Initiative (REDI) Funded Infrastructure Improvements and the Flood Damage Shoreline Stabilization Project. Bids will be received for the following contract: Contract No. 1 – General Construction – Docks at Mary Street (SJ.111): Scope of work consists of reconstruction of the Main Dock, Boat Launch Dock and Boat Launch Ramp located in the St. Lawrence River at the western end of Mary Street. Main Dock at Mary Street - Reconstruction of the Main Dock within its existing footprint (~520’ long; 10’ wide), including remove existing timber superstructure and facade and remove existing dock accessories (lighting, fire extinguishers, cleats, benches, bollards, etc.), cut existing timber piles at the mud line, install fifty-two (52) new 8-inch diameter concrete-filled steel pipe piles, install new concrete deck to the same elevation as existing, install new lighting, benches, cleats, and other accessories. Boat Launch Dock at Mary Street – Reconstruction of the Boat Launch Dock within a similar footprint (~80’ long; width varies from 4’ to 8’), including remove existing timber superstructure and facade, cut existing timber piles at the mud line, install eleven (11) new 8-inch diameter concrete-filled steel pipe piles, install new concrete deck to the same elevation as the Main Dock, install new gangway (18’ long; 4’ wide) and new floating dock (32’ long; 8’ wide) and connect to Main Dock with 10’ wide fixed walkway. Boat Launch Ramp at Mary Street – Reconstruction of deteriorated concrete at the boat ramp (40’ long; 18’ wide), including remove and replace with four new 10’ by 16’ precast concrete slabs.
