Citywide Emergency Generator Replacement - Phase 2

The engineer's estimate is between $2 million and $3.6 million. The Work shall consist of, but is not limited to removal and installation of new generators, automatic transfer switch, fuel tank, associated raceway and cables, foundation, and other work as identified on the Project Plan and these Special Provisions. The Project is located at four sites -- Fairway Glen Storm Drain Pump Station, Freedom Circle Storm Drain Pump Station, Water Well 15, and Water Well 28 The Work shall reach Substantial Completion within four hundred forty-four (444) Working Days from the date when the Contract Time commences to run. The Work shall reach Final Completion within five hundred twenty five (525) Working Days from the date when the Contract Time commences to run for definitions of Substantial Completion and Final Completion A California "A" or "B" contractor's license is required to bid this contract. Joint ventures must secure a joint venture license prior to award of this Contract. The successful Bidder must comply with all prevailing wage laws applicable to the Project, and related requirements contained in the Contract Documents. This Citywide Generator Replacement Phase 2 Project City specifically reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject any or all Bids, or re-bid, or to waive inconsequential deviations from Bid requirements not involving time, price, or quality of the Work. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
