New Wastewater Digester Aerator Assembly

The City of Fernandina Beach, Florida (City) is requesting bids for the purchase of a new Wastewater System Aerator at the City's Wastewater Treatment Plant Facility. The new aerator is to be operated by a 3-phase motor capable of delivering 75 Hp with a direct drive propeller at constant speed and with a flotation unit for an existing 325,000-330,000 gal. Plant Digester.The successful bid is to include the cost of the materials of the new aerator unit delivered to the City's Wastewater Treatment Plant.Any exclusions regarding the installation proposed by the bidder must be expressly stipulated in the bid submittal.The City shall be the judge of its own best interests, the bids, and the resulting Contract. An award may be made to the most responsive and responsible submittal determined to be the most advantageous to the City. Award recommendation will be to the most responsive and responsible bid submittal offering the best value to the City of Fernandina Beach. The City reserves the right, based upon its deliberations and in its opinion, to accept or reject any or all bid submittals. The City also reserves the right to waive minor irregularities or variations to the specifications and in the bidding process.Successful Bidder is required to have a Business License in the city where their home office is located. If Bidder's business office is located in the City of Fernandina Beach a business tax license is required. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids, to waive irregularities and technicalities, and to request resubmission or to re-advertise for the services. The City will be the sole judge of the submittals. The City's decision will be final.
