Description

The District is accepting bids to provide Cat6e network access to up to 200 locations, with each location having 2 individual drops (up to 400 drops in total). Bid Unit Cost must be an “average per drop” cost, and no walkthroughs will be provided. No cable trays necessary, and all runs will be plenum-grade cable. Total Project Bid Extended Cost must include all materials used, labor and testing. Cable installers will punch down to existing patch panels, and will place RJ45 connectors on client side (no blocks or boxes). All drops will run above drop ceiling, and no wall fishing on client side is necessary. Drops will be left in 20’ coils above ceiling for District installers to pull through walls.
