Replace Entrance Doors

Solicitation is for replacement of fire doors at USCG Sector Buffalo as per the Statement of Work. Multiple doors at Sector ANT and ESD need replacement as they are failing. Doors are failing due to being old and are starting to rust out. Doors are also exterior and are showing signs of water and salt damge. 1.2 SCOPE Contract work shall encompass the following items of work as described in these specifications. This summary is not all-inclusive and delineates only those work items deemed as major to the contract. Ancillary work items not listed below, though necessary to attain the completed project, shall be included in the contract. The awarded contractor will install panic bar with exterior night latch, heavy duty closer, brush sweep, NRP hinges, Knock down frame,threshold, weather seal on Exit door Main building, door 3" by 7'. This will include the removal and disposal of the existing doors and coorisponding hardware. ESD will need to have a double door with 24" x 30" window in each leaf, surface bolts on the inactive leaf, overlap astrigal, heavy duty closer on the active leaf, panic bar with exterior thumb pull on the active leaf, threshold sweep and weather seal, full surface continuous hinges on both leafs. Aids to Navigation team door is 3" by 7' and will include install of panic bar with exterior night latch, heavy duty closer, brush sweep, NRP hinges, welded frame, threshold, weather seal. This will include the removal and disposal of the existing doors. Main building north door is 3" by 7' and will have a 5" x 20" wire, panic bar with exterior night latch, heavy duty closer, brush sweep, NRP hinges, welded frame, threshold, weather seal. This will include the removal and disposal of the existing doors. Officer of the day door will be 3" by 7' and will be a fire rated door and frame, Locking lever set, heavy duty closer, brush sweep, NRP hinges, Knock down frame,threshold, weather seal. This will include the removal and disposal of the existing doors. Command duty officer door is 3" by 7' and will also be a fire rated door and frame, Locking lever set, heavy duty closer, brush sweep, NRP hinges, Knock down frame, threshold, weather seal. This will include the removal and disposal of the existing doors. The South exit door will be 3" by 7' door with a 5" x 20" wire, panic bar, heavy duty closer, brush sweep, NRP hinges, welded frame, threshold, weather seal. This will include the removal and disposal of the existing doors.
