Floor Covering Replacement - Exposition Center - State Fair Park

In general, the work consists of: The replacement of the carpet floor coverings and vinyl base in the Exposition Center at the second floor of the building comprising the pre-function space, offices, meeting rooms, and conference room as well as 3 offices on the first floor. The 2 smaller meeting rooms on the second floor will receive new privacy window films at the interior glass dividing walls. The project also includes replacement of the epoxy flooring and toilet partitions in the 6 restrooms on the first floor. Contract offer and construction phase records will be processed electronically on the WisBuild(TM) DFD Information System. The 2017-2019 Wisconsin State Budget (2017 Wisconsin Act 59) repealed Wisconsin's prevailing wage laws. Effective September 23, 2017, state prevailing wage requirements on state building projects no longer apply These changes take effect for projects advertised for bid after September 23, 2017. This change does not affect the Federal Davis Bacon Act requirements.
