Recreational Facilities Improvements to Irwin Park Track- Parking Lot and Lighting

The work for Contract 2/2023 will consist of: the contractor milling two parking lots at a depth of 3.5" to resurface with a level course and wearing course of approximately 3300 sq. yards, the brick access road will be resurfaced, two sections of trail extensions to facilities, new light fixtures, and light updates. This project is funded in whole or part with federal funds. Davis-Bacon wage rates and other federal requirements apply and are included in the bid documents. Labor Compliance is mandatory. Notice is also hereby given that this project is regulated under Executive Order 11246 - Equal Employment Opportunity and related contract specifications apply. Each Proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check or Bidder's Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the proposal, in favor of Irwin Borough. All contractors must adhere to Act 127 of 2012 (Public Works Employment Verification Act). No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the same has been filed with Borough of Irwin. Irwin Borough Manager and Council reserves the right to reject any of all bids or to waive any informality in bids received.
