Description

Description: Deck Replacement and Rehabilitation for Bridge No. 21096 on MD 56 over I-70. The existing four span steel beam bridge is 227 ft. long with a 34’-6” roadway. Project includes removal and replacement of the existing bridge deck, repairs to, and complete painting of the structural steel, and rehabilitaiton of the existing piers and abutments. Also included in the scope of work is the resurfacing of portions of MD 56, repairs to existing inlets, placement of new traffic barriers, and permanent pavement striping. One alternating lane of traffic, controlled by signals, will be maintained during the life of the Contract.
