Description | Scope of Work to Be Performed Under This Improvement Shall Generally Consist of Reconstructing and Protecting Approximately 650 Feet of Eroded Bank of the Elk Creek Near the Northern Boundary of Trenton Community Park. The Scope of Work Includes Removing Existing Gravel Deposits, Placing Embankment and Reconstructing the West Bank, and Installing Rock Protection on the Reconstructed Bank and Rock Vanes in Elk Creek. The Bank Will Also Be Stabilized and Landscaped. Each Bidder Is Required to Furnish With Its Proposal, a Bid Guaranty (10% of the Bid Amount) and Contract Bond (100% of the Bid Amount) in Accordance With Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid Security Furnished in Bond Form, Shall Be Issued by a Surety Company or Corporation Licensed in the State of Ohio to Provide Said Surety. Each Bid Proposal Must Contain the Full Name of the Party or Parties Submitting the Proposal and All Persons Interested Therein. Each Bidder Must Submit Evidence of Its Experiences on Projects of Similar Size and Complexity. Bidders Must Comply With the Prevailing Wage Rates on Public Improvements in Butler County and the City of Trenton as Determined by the Ohio The Above Improvement Shall Be in Accordance With the Contract Documents. The City of Trenton Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids in Accordance With the Contract Documents. The City of Trenton Reserves the Right to Add to or to Subtract From the Contract Quantities. The City of Trenton Also Reserves the Right to Hold All Proposals for Sixty (60) Days.
