Construction of the Runway Extension and Airport Road Relocation Project at the Blue Ridge Regional Airport

Sealed bids are hereby solicited for construction of the Runway Extension & Airport Road Relocation project at the Blue Ridge Regional Airport. Improvements include demolition & removal, excavation and embankment construction, new VDOT road and runway pavement (asphalt), traffic management, utility relocation coordination, erosion and sediment control, stormwater management facilities, and other ancillary work associated with the improvements. The Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal for this project is 10.4%. This is a unit price contract. All questions concerning the project shall be submitted in writing jamie@edenandassociates.com and to be given consideration must be received by Wednesday, April 26, 2023. Eden & Associates is the only point through which information will be disseminated. Bid security must accompany each proposal in accordance with the Information for Bidders. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after the opening thereof. The procedure specified under Section 2.2-4330(A) (i), VA Code Ann. shall apply: "the bidder shall give notice in writing of his claim of right to withdraw his bid within two (2) business days after the conclusion of the bid opening procedure". The Blue Ridge Regional Airport Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive informalities and irregularities in bidding, and to accept bids which are considered to be in the best interest of the Authority.
