Purchase and Installation of Generator at Station 1

1. Removal of existing generator and all components (fuel, transfer switch, electrical components, etc.) to include transportation and disposal in accordance with all local, state and federal laws. 2. Provide and install new generator and essential components as per provided specifications sheet. New generator to be installed on the exterior of the building. Exterior location identified as the west side of the building. 3. Provide and install new transfer switch and essential components as per provided specifications sheet. 4. Provide and install all necessary electrical components for the replacement generator, including engineered drawings (if necessary) and all required permitting. Installation of new generator to include expansion of emergency back-up coverage to more areas of the building than is currently being provided by the existing generator. 5. Provide and install all necessary natural gas components for the replacement generator, including engineered drawings (if necessary) and all required permitting. 6. Following installation, the contractor shall start the generator as per manufacturer recommendations and fully load the generator to ensure adequate and proper operation of the generator. 7. Furnish and install new generator to meet or exceed any existing requirements as per the Florida Building Code or the International Building Code. 8. Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining and paying for all required permits (local, state, federal) and inspections. Copy of final inspection (s)to be handed over to owner prior to payment. 9. Contractor shall take all precautions to protect existing structure, sod, irrigation heads, wall mounted light fixtures, screen enclosures, windows and screens, garage doors, concrete walks and driveways etc.. 10. All work to be performed in a timely and professional manner. 11. Contractor generator specification sheet provided. 12. Generator Installation Location: Station 1 2400 Rhode Island Ave Ft.
