Description

The Intent of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is for the County of Loudoun, Virginia (County) to obtain the services of a qualified General Contractor to construct the Loudoun County Public Safety Firing Range Located adjacent to Shreve Mill Road. Refer to plans sheet GI001 for specific project location. The project includes but not limited to the following: 1. A one story precast concrete building of approximately 55,000 square feet, including a 10-lane 100-yard-long tactical firing range, an 18-lane 50-yard- long tactical firing range, a use-of-force simulator, classrooms, storage, and administrative, and support spaces. 2. A one story pre-engineered metal building, with mezzanine, of approximately 6000 square feet total, to provide department force-on- force training. 3. Sitework to include parking, on-site well and water supply, on-site septic field for sewage disposal, frontage road improvements, and other related improvements. 4. A left turn lane on Evergreen Mills Road. The County anticipates having the right of way finalized no later than 180 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. The Contractor should incorporate this timeline into their schedule. No time extension will be granted due to this delayed start of the turn lane.
