Magale Library - Chilled Water System

Southern Arkansas University is requesting sealed bids from qualified licensed contractors to execute the scope of work for renovating the chilled water system in the central plant of the Magale Library, removing the cooling tower from the roof of Magale Library, and providing a new cooling tower at the Bruce Building adjacent building to the Magale Library. A new screen wall will be constructed around the new cooling tower. Equipment must be operational and conditioning Magale Library by the first week of June 2023. All Bid Proposals must be submitted on an unaltered or modified copy of the Bid Form Proposal provided in the Project Manual. Bidders may photocopy these forms. The entire manual does not need to be submitted with the bids. Faxed Bid Form Proposals, Phone Quotes, and Email Quotes will not be accepted. A 5% Bid Bond or Cashier's Check is required. Bids must include the cost of Performance Bond and Payment Bond. Bidders shall conform to the requirements of the Arkansas licensing laws and regulations for contractors and shall be licensed before a bid is submitted. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any formalities.
