Description

CDBG regulations governing the grant require that to the greatest extent feasible, opportunities for training and employment arising in connection with this CDBG-assisted project will be extended to local lower-income residents within El Paso County. Further to the greatest extent feasible, business concerns located in or substantially owned by residents of the project area will be utilized. Bidding contractors will be required to submit a Housing & Urban Development Section 3 Plan. This project is federally funded. As such Standard Federal Equal Opportunity and Employment provisions shall apply including Davis Bacon Act Wage provisions. Installation of curb and gutter, sidewalk, and pedestrian ramps.
