Description

1. Contractor shall coordinate monthly Preventative Maintenance (PM) services, one week in advance with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR), or Print Shop personnel. 2. Contractor shall furnish all parts and labor to accomplish the task of preventative maintenance and inspection of Fulton boilers, located at the Syracuse VAMC and Donald J. Mitchell Rome Outpatient clinic. All parts must be Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) to prevent any potential compatibility, or functional issues with existing equipment. Contractor call back response time to any request for repair shall be 4 hours or less. Repairs shall be completed within 48 – 72 hours of service call. 3. Contractor shall perform preventative maintenance and inspection on each Fulton boiler shall follow recommendations and frequency outlined in Attachment A, Section 4: Fulton Installation and Operation Manual, Vantage (VTG) Condensing Hydronic Boilers, Standard, Dual Fuel, and Low Emissions Models 2,000,000- 6,000,000 BTU/ HR - VTG-IOM-2018-0828 and Attachment B: OCAMES: Healthcare Engineering Standard ES-2018-001 Low Pressure Steam and Hot Water Boilers: Design and Operation. 4. Contractor shall furnish all parts and labor to accomplish the task of onsite emergency repairs, utilizing OEM parts, to prevent any potential compatibility, or functional issues with existing equipment. 5. Contractor shall test the functionality of the Fulton boiler equipment upon completion of all repairs. If this is a test for repair, the test should ensure that damaged parts have been successfully repaired and all functions including, but not limited to those related to repaired parts, are operational. If this is a test for a routine PM service, inspection, etc., then the test should just ensure that the equipment is functioning within the guidelines of the OEM or the applicable standards contained within Attachment A and Attachment B. 6. Upon completion of service and/or repair, technician shall provide documentation showing repair or service completed, and functionality testing must show unit/units function properly. 7. Technicians performing repair and inspection shall be Fulton Boiler Factory certified. Evidence of current certification shall be provided by contractor.
