Description

Construction expected to start August 2022. *The original solicitation is listed below for historical reference. The City of Gulf Breeze invites submittals for At-Risk Construction Management Services Construction of Police Department and City Services Annex. The project consists of At-Risk Construction Management Services, for a new Police Department and City Services Annex, to be constructed at 311 Fairpoint Drive, Gulf Breeze FL. Questions regarding the RFQ should be submitted to Ginny Coady, Procurement Officer, via email at procurement@gulfbreezefl.gov, by close of business on March 16, 2021. Responses to those questions considered material to the submittal will be made available Electronically. The City of Gulf Breeze (i) will award the project to the most responsible and responsive submission; (ii) reserves the right to accept or reject any or all submissions, to waive any informalities, and to re-advertise the RFQ when deemed in the best interest of the City; and (iii) hereby notifies all firms that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise will be afforded full opportunity to submit responses to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, gender, religion, age, disability, marital status or national origin in consideration for an award. Firms shall not lobby or otherwise attempt to persuade or influence City Council members, officials, or staff, on decisions to be made relating to the RFQ, except in public presentations requested by the City. This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is for "At-Risk Construction Management" services for the construction of all site and building improvements of an approximate 7,900 square foot building to be utilized as the Gulf Breeze Police Department and City Services Annex at 311 Fairpoint Drive, Gulf Breeze, FL. The design and construction minimum basis for this facility shall be the Florida Building Code in effect at the closing of this RFQ. The project will be phased to allow continuous operations and includes the demolition of the existing Police Department building once the new facility is ready to occupy. The desired delivery date for the constructed Police Department and City Services Annex is Fall 2022.
