Description

The project is the restoration of the exterior envelope of Main Hall, a historic mid-nineteenth century Jeffersonian Greekrevival building listed on the National Register as well as the Virginia Landmarks Register. The project includes brick and stone masonry repair and restoration including: cleaning; repointing; brick and stone replacement; disassembly and reassembly of brick walls; reconstruction of stone walls and stone steps; stone dutchman and cracked stone repairs; installation of window lintels; and removal and application of lime-based exterior stucco to masonry walls.
