This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ). Substitute the words "quote" and "Quoter" for "offer" and "Offeror" where they appear in this form. The acceptance of a quote by the National Park Service will not establish a binding contract. RFQ 140P8322Q0078 is for work associated with application of an asphalt patch in the Paradise Picnic Area Upper Parking lot within Mount Rainier National Park. The contractor shall provide all materials, management, labor and transportation, insurance, administrative and other services to complete the project in accordance with the scope of work. In accordance with the FAR 36.204 the estimated magnitude of this contract is lower than $9,000. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 237310 with a Small Business Size Standard of $39.5 Million Dollars receipts over the past three years. This is a total small business set-aside. All work shall be performed under a single firm fixed-price construction contract subject to the Wage Rate requirements (Construction) for Pierce County, Washington. Site Visit (Construction). (FEB 1995) - Alternate I (FEB 1995) (a) The clauses at 52.236-2, Differing Site Conditions, and 52.236-3, Site Investigations and Conditions Affecting the Work, will be included in any contract awarded as a result of this solicitation. Accordingly, offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed.
