The Town is seeking bids from qualified contractors to provide and install single mode fiber runs for the Electric Division. CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 3/28/2023 5:00 PM Questions concerning the work requirements of this bid should be submitted through the Purchasing Portal Scope of Work and Materials: Stock Room 100 John Street to 51 John Street o 24 Strand Singlemode Fiber o Installation route is from server room in 100 John Street, UG in existing 4" conduit to Pole WE04970. Then east to Cherry St, north to John St, west to Clifton St, ending at Pole WE00152 on Clifton Street, then UG in existing 4" conduit to 51 John St. Fiber can be hung in the municipal gain. o 19" rack mount fiber patch panel with LC connectors for server room (goes in existing rack). o Wall mount connector housing with LC connectors for 51 John Street. o ALTOS(R) Loose Tube, Gel-Free Cable, 24 F, Single-mode (OS2) o Appropriate EHS cable and lashing and slack storage brackets o OTDR reports for each pair Scope of Work and Materials (Continued): New Pole Barn 100 John Street to new pole barn o 24 Strand Singlemode Fiber o Installation route is from server room in 100 John Street, above ceiling, across building to southwest corner, UG in existing 2" conduit to new pole barn. o 19" rack mount fiber patch panel with LC connectors for server room (goes in existing rack). o Wall mount connector housing with LC connectors for new pole barn. o FREEDM(R) Loose Tube Gel-Free Cable, Plenum, 24 F, Single-mode (OS2) o Appropriate hangers, lashing and slack storage brackets o OTDR reports for each pair
