Eau Gallie Civic Center Interior Gymnasium Painting

A. The scope of work shall involve painting interior gymnasium walls and door frames, including but not limited to, surface preparation, cleaning, patching, caulking, scraping, sanding, priming, and finish coat painting. B. CONTRACTOR will lightly sand and clean interior gymnasium walls and one side of four doors and jams to remove dust and debris as needed. C. CONTRACTOR shall caulk previously painted wall to door jambs as needed. D. Previously painted interior specified gymnasium wall surfaces must be painted with two (2) coats of Sherwin Williams SuperPaint Satin #A89 Series. E. CONTRACTOR shall lightly sand and solvent clean gymnasium ceiling, ceiling supports, and ductwork using Denatured Alcohol or Cleaner/Degreaser to remove dust, dirt residue or greasy film. F. Bare or peeling areas shall be primed with Industrial primer #B66 Series and followed by one (1) coat of Sherwin Williams Pro Industrial Multi-Surface Acrylic Semi-Gloss coating #B66 Series. G. CONTRACTOR must remove and replace wall mats prior to and following painting. H. Work must be completed before April 2023. Proposals are received in accordance with the City Charter and Code of Ordinances of the City of Melbourne, Florida.
