Structural Repair and Supplemental HVAC Design Build

The location of this project is 19701 Fairchild Road, Irvine, CA. GSA requires a General Contractor (GC) to both repair structural damage to the interior partitions along corridors of the building and provide supplemental HVAC to several LAN Closets throughout the building. The FDA has several laboratory functions located at this facility. An analysis of the site showed several cracks in the drywall in the service corridors of each of the three wings. The FDA has several LAN closets throughout the site which require supplemental cooling to accommodate servers, telecom, and other IT equipment’s heating loads. Each room requires its own dedicated cooling system. The requirement consists of design and construction for no fewer than five (5) LAN closets.
