Description

The project involves upgrading the existing storm water drainage system with 79 LF of 18” RCP, 384 LF of 24” RCP, and 414 LF of 30” RCP. The construction includes furnishing of materials, excavation, installation and backfilling for the placement of drainage piping. The parking lot of IGA and Singletary’s will also receive some resurfacing and striping to repair any damaged areas from the construction. It will improve drainage from Mclean Street, Dawson Street, and Smith Avenue. Smith Avenue will be milled and resurfaced 50 feet each side of the proposed storm drain to adhere to GDOT requirements within the Utility Accommodations Manual.
