| Description | This sale is a Purchaser Select unmarked thinning of planted pines within the sale boundary. The sale consists of 366 acres of planted slash pine. The purchaser will conduct a third row select thinning leaving 30-50 sq. ft. basal area of the largest, best formed trees evenly distributed across the stand. The District Project Manager will routinely make an assessment of the timber harvest to ensure the objectives are being met. |
