Description | This Sources Sought notice is issued for planning purposes only, and does not constitute a solicitation for proposals, offers, bids, and/or quotes. This is not an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation, or confirmation that the Government will contract for the items contained in the announcement, nor is any commitment on the part of the Government to award a contract implied. This will be a firm fixed price requirements contract for: replace (remove old machines & install new machines) current washers/dryers, corrective maintenance/repair, quarterly preventative maintenance, and an annual preventive maintenance of Government owned industrial washers and industrial gas dryers. The replacement units shall have the following salient characteristics: Washer-Extractors: Capacity: 100lb - 110lb Standard Electric Stainless Steel Construction or similar Front Loading Total Speeds to Include: Wash, Low Extract, Medium, High Extract, Extra High Extract and Ultra High Extract. Hot and Cold Water Connections Overall Width not to exceed 45 inches Overall Height not to exceed 71 inches Total Depth Not to exceed 60 inches Customizable Load Control Hard mounted LP GAS DRYERS: Capacity: 120lbs Utility Connection : Gas Stainless Steel Construction or Similar Front Loading Overall Width not to exceed 50 inches Overall Height not to exceed 90 inches Overall Depth not to exceed 70 inches Customizable Load Control Hard mounted Maintenance and repair service shall consist of inspecting, cleaning, lubricating, adjusting, calibrating (if required) and repairing the equipment to a first-class operating condition. Maintenance shall be conducted both annually and quarterly for preventative maintenance. The Contractor shall furnish all repair parts, labor, and transportation necessary to accomplish requirement of keeping machines in good operating condition. All equipment for this requirement shall be maintained at levels necessary to provide the specified functions in order to be in compliance with the manufacturer's current equipment specifications and applicable Government regulations and directives. | ||
