Entrance Sign at Ft Devens, MA

Fort Devens requires the procurement of a metallic in construction, brown/brushed aluminum in color, and compliant main entrance sign for a Department of Army military base, which must adhere to both the esthetics, construction, material and dimensional requirements laid out in UFC 3-120-01. The sign must contain graphic information on both sides, be fabricated from aluminum with a painted finish, and be engineered to resist wind loads and thermal movement according to the local climate requirements without distortions and excessive deflections. Overall dimensions of the sign are as follows: total length – 14’-0”, total height (including planter base) – 10’-0”, and total width is 1’-9”. Contractor will deliver and install the sign within a prescribed time frame.
