| Description | 1. Furnish materials and labor to fabricate and install approximately 82’ of handicap ramp railing and 22’ of step rails. 2. Rails will be fabricated from 1 ¼” Sch. 40 pipe (1.6250). 3. Top rail shall be set to maintain 36” above finished floor (AFF). 4. Bottom rail shall be set to maintain 4” clear space AFF. 5. Rails shall be continuous and have 12” ADA compliant extensions. 6. All welding shall be ground smooth with an architectural finish. 7. Rails shall be sandblasted, and powder coated semi-gloss black. • Posts shall be core drilled into existing concrete and filled with quick set 5000# joint filler compound POR-ROK or approved equal. |
