| Description | Surcharge program to consolidate the existing Stoney Field located off Fishburne Street in the City of Charleston. The project will be completed in two phases. Phase 1 will include placement of erosion control measures, limited demolition of site items, installation of approximately 150,000 SF of permeable low strength geotextile fabric within the surcharge limits, installation of a 12” thick drainage layer approximately 5,500 compacted cubic yards consisting of clean sand less than 5% fines passing the #200 sieve, installation of approximately 7,250 prefabricated vertical drains, placement of an additional 24,500 compacted cubic yards of clean sand less than 5% fines passing the #200 sieve, and final site stabilization. Soil monitoring equipment and installation will be provided by others; however, the selected contractor will be required to coordinate their work with the placement of the monitoring equipment. | ||||||||||
