Forest Run Metropark - Timberman Ridge Enhancements

As of August 30, 2022, project is on hold. No definite date for the rebid. Base Bid $212,223 Add Alternate #1 $11,925 Forest Run Metropark - Timberman Ridge Enhancements Bidders should address all questions in writing via email to Matt Latham, Park Planner/Project Manager, mlatham@yourmetroparks.net. All questions are due no later than 3:00 P.M. on August 1, 2022. Each Bidder is required to furnish with its Bid a Bid Guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Such Bid Guaranty shall be in the form of either a bond, secured by a corporate surety, in the amount of 100% of the bid amount; or a certified check, cashier's check, or irrevocable letter of credit, made payable to MetroParks of Butler County, in an amount equal to 10% of the Bid amount. All corporate sureties shall be licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each Bid must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the Bid and all persons interested therein. Successful bidders shall comply with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to equal employment opportunities. This is a prevailing wage project. MetroParks of Butler County is a government agency exempt from all local, state and federal taxes. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes and clearly marked with the Bid No., project title, and the designation of the contract being bid upon. No bid may be withdrawn before sixty (60) days have elapsed after the Bid Opening Date. The Board of Park Commissioners intends to award a contract to the lowest and best bidder whose Bid is submitted in accordance with the requirements of these bidding documents and does not exceed the funds available for the Project. The project is described as follows: Installation of prefabricated restroom (provided by others), grading, concrete work, utilities, and associated site improvements. No contract will be awarded if the lowest and best bid is in excess of 10% above the Engineer's pre-bid estimate of cost, which is published in the Contract Documents The Board of MetroParks Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bidding
