English Sparrow and Eskimo Curlew Resurfacing Project

Note: The County/Engineers probable cost estimate for this project is $517,117.75. Question Submission Deadline September 22, 2022, 5:00pm The scope of this project includes gopher tortoise conservation permitting, mapping, capturing and relocating to recipient site, roadway excavations, roadway stabilization, placement of new road base, paving, minor shoulder grading, sign relocations, placement of sod, paint striping and thermoplastic striping. The contract also involves adherence to NPDES requirements and silt fence and drainage counter measures that have been provided in the project plan set. Adherence to maintenance of traffic per the applicable FDOT and MUTCD indexes and chapters is also a requirement. SCOPE OF WORK 1. The Vendor/Contractor will supply all materials, labor, and equipment in order to accomplish the English Sparrow Road and Eskimo Curlew Road Resurfacing Project , as described in the specifications and construction plans showing the proposed improvements in Hernando County, Florida. 10.2. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: 1. This project consists of The Vendor/Contractor will supply all materials, labor, and equipment in order to accomplish the English Sparrow Road and Eskimo Curlew Road Resurfacing Project, as described in the specifications and construction plans showing the proposed improvements in Hernando County, Florida.. 2. The scope of this project includes gopher tortoise conservation permitting, mapping, capturing and relocating to recipient site, roadway excavations, roadway stabilization, placement of new road base, paving, minor shoulder grading, sign relocations, placement of sod, paint striping and thermoplastic striping. If needed, the Vendor/Contractor shall provide a yard for parking, maintenance and storage of all equipment at no expense to the County. This area shall be restored to its original condition at the contractor's expense. 4. It will be the Vendor/Contractor's responsibility to provide an acceptable MOT plan at the PreConstruction meeting along with a chart showing the project schedule. 5. The Vendor/Contractor shall comply with all applicable OSHA workplace safety requirements and shall accomplish the work in a manner providing for the safety of their equipment and workers and for the safety of the general public. 10.3. LOCATION OF THE WORK: 1. The work to be performed in this contract will be performed on English Sparrow Road and Eskimo Curlew Road, Brooksville, Florida, in Hernando County, Florida.
