Description | NOTICE is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Township of Harding for 2023 Lawn Care and related Maintenance Services for various Township properties. Bids must be made on Standard Proposal Forms in the manner designated herein and required by the specifications, must be enclosed in sealed envelopes, bearing the name and address of bidder and name of project on the outside addressed to Township of Harding, Purchasing Agent, 21 Blue Mill Road, New Vernon, NJ 07976 and must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond for not less than ten (10%) percent of the amount bid, provided said check need not be more than $20,000.00, nor shall not be less than $500.00 and be delivered at the place on or before the hour named above. The Standard Proposal Form and required documents to be submitted with the bid proposal are included with the Specifications. In accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A11-23.2, all contracts entered into with the Township of Harding, the contractor must be registered with the New Jersey Department of the Treasury, Division of Revenue and provide a business certificate with the bid. The contractor shall provide written notice to its subcontractors and supplier of the responsibility to submit proof of business registration to the contractor. The requirement of proof of business registration extends down through all levels of the project. Before final payment on the contract is made by the contracting agency, the contractor shall submit an accurate list and poof of business registration of each subcontractor or supplier used in the fulfillment of the contract, or shall attest that no subcontractors were used. The Contractor will comply with rules and regulations and orders promulgated by the New Jersey State Treasurer pursuant to N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et. seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 and will all provisions of the Local Public Contracts Law, N.J.S.A. 40A11-1 et. seq. and all rules and regulations promulgated thereunder, the provisions of which are incorporated herein by reference. In accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:11-15(45), the Township reserves the right to award by resolution two (2) one (1) year extensions. The Township reserves the right to determine which contract will be awarded and the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in any bid, as permitted or required by law. |
