Description | Purpose and Description of Services 1. The purpose of this Agreement is to set forth the terms and conditions under which the Contractor is to provide trash services for the Clean California Initiative. The Contractor agrees to provide to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) all labor, trash and recycle bins, equipment, and incidentals, and to pay all associated costs, fees, disposal fees, and taxes, necessary to provide trash and recycling collection, hauling and legal disposal services. 2. Refer to the Proposed Form of Agreement, Exhibit A, which is attached to this IFB as Attachment 8 for a more complete description of services. Written Question Submittal 9/29/2022 Proposed Award Date (estimate) 10/20/2022 Questions regarding this IFB must be submitted in writing by September 29, 2022. The predetermined general prevailing wage rates published by the Director of Industrial Relations may be obtained via the Internet at: Portal, or by contacting the Contract Analyst listed on the first page of this solicitation. It is the bidder's responsibility to use the correct classification determination published by the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). |
