Water Systems Well and Booster Station Pump Systems - Operation, Maintenance and Training Services

Contractor shall provide the costs, materials and labor necessary to conduct the annual scheduled inspection of every well and booster station in the DPU water systems. Contractor shall complete an annual inspection field form for each station including the assessment of the condition of the station and its separate systems and components. Contractor shall verify that each station is operating properly. Contractor shall verify that maintenance is being performed adequately at each station. Contractor shall verify that all station systems are functioning as desired: mechanical (pumps, seals, valves, fittings and piping); electrical (service entrance, motor control center, lights, fans, wiring, conduit and terminations); control and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (“SCADA”) not directly related to proprietary HSQ equipment or programming (human machine interface (“HMI”) screen view(s), programming, field devices, communications, wiring, conduit and terminations). Contractor shall complete flow rate testing and discharge pressure for each pump and compare to design values or standards. This completed item is to be a detailed annual inspection and reporting on the station condition and functionality. Contrator’s personnel shall have experience with in-the-field troubleshooting and systems evaluation. Assessments to verify systems are performing as expected, for the equipment installed, based on manufacturer’s specifications and recommendations and meeting all industry standard practices for acknowledged operational and maintenance procedures. Mileage, and any perdiem expenses, for the annual scheduled inspections shall be included in the per station charge.
