Description

Questions must be provided in writing and emailed to fy22- 23dc@bpusd.net and mesparza544@bpusd.net. The subject line must read "RFP 22-5 Primary Datacenter Upgrade and Establishment of Backup Datacenter - Questions". The responses will be provided in an addendum and posted on the School Districts portal. The last day to ask questions is 3:00 PM on FRIDAY, JUNE 10TH, 2022. In the event that there is a discrepancy in documentation posted in multiple locations, the controlling (master) document will always be located at the School District portal. Pursuant to California Labor Code Section 1773, the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations of the State of California has determined the generally prevailing rates of wages in the locality in which the Work is to be performed. Copies of these determinations, entitled "Prevailing Wage Scale", are maintained at the State of California, Department of Industrial Relations website. Copies of wages may be requested from the Purchasing Services office and are available written upon request. The Contractor to whom the contract for the Work is awarded shall post a copy of all applicable prevailing wage rates for the Work at conspicuous locations at the site of the Work. The Contractor and all Subcontractors performing any portion of the Work shall pay not less than the applicable prevailing wage rate for the classification of labor provided by their respective Workers in the execution of the Work. Submittal of RFPs - All RFP Proposals shall be presented on a form furnished by BPUSD. Additional explanation requests can be provided on Vendor letterhead. It shall be the full responsibility of all proposers to ensure that proposals are delivered to the above office by the time and date stated. It is the Proposer's responsibility to allow for sufficient time for mail. The School District will not be responsible for late deliveries by U.S. mail or any other means. Facsimile (fax) or email copies of the proposal will not be accepted. Any proposal not received by the stated due date and time will be returned to the proposer unopened and the proposer will be considered non-responsive. Any non-conforming or incomplete documents or proposals may be deemed non-responsive and rejected. The School District reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals and to waive any irregularities or informalities in any proposal or in the proposal process. No proposal, or any portion thereof, may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the proposal due date.
