Description

Polk County, a political subdivision of the State of Florida, requests the submittal of bids from vendors that are interested in providing leachate hauling as described herein. Bid Number and Title: 23-384, Leachate Hauling Between Landfills Description: Provide the necessary labor, material, equipment and supervision to haul leachate from the Southeast Landfill (SEFL), Golfview Cutoff Road in Lake Wales, and the Northeast Landfill (NELF), Bannon Island Road in Lake Hamilton, to the North Central Landfill (NCLF) designated leachate collection system on site, located at 7245 Highway 540 (Winter Lake Road). Attached are important instructions and specifications regarding responses to this Bid. Failure to follow these instructions could result in Bid disqualification. Questions regarding this bid should be in writing and should reference the above Bid. In determining the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, in addition to price, the following may be considered: Vendors evaluation - quality of performance on previous projects. The ability, capacity, equipment and skill of the bidder to fulfill the contract. Whether or not the bidder can fulfill the contract within the time specified, without delay or interference. The character, integrity, reputation, judgment, experience and efficiency of the bidder. The previous and existing compliance by the bidder with laws and ordinances relating to the contract. The sufficiency of the financial resources to fulfill the contract to provide the goods and/or services. The quality, availability and adaptability of the suppliers or contractual services to the particular use required. The ability of the bidder to provide future maintenance and service, as required or needed. The number and scope of conditions attached to the bid.
