The Project includes the following scope of Work: modification of five (5) existing traffic signals along Seventh Street from Lorene Drive to B Street and the construction of a new, fully operational traffic signal at the intersection of Village Drive and Puesta Del Sol Drive. The Work will further include associated temporary traffic control, potholing, underground utility trenching/boring, pull box replacement, fiber optic cable installation, concrete removal and replacement. The City does not wish to publicize the engineer's estimate of the project cost since this information may tend to influence the number and nature of bids received. However, for the bidder's convenience, the City will publicize that the engineer's estimate for the base bid falls within a range of $2,700,000.00 to $3,000,000.00. : Each Bid Proposal shall be accompanied by: (a) cash; (b) a certified or cashier's check; or (c) a bidder's bond made payable to City of Victorville in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the Total Base Bid as bid security. Said Bid Guaranty shall be enclosed in the same envelope as the Bid Proposal and no bid shall be considered unless such Bid Guaranty is enclosed therewith.
