Grayslake Community Park District Park Maintenance Facility

Grayslake Community Park District and Hezcorp Construction Services, the Construction Manager at Risk as Constructor for this project, are accepting subcontractor bids for demolition, concrete, carpentry, HM doors and frames, hardware, MTL-stud drywall, acoustical, flooring, painting, fire suppression, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, fire detection and alarm, excavation and paving trades. Work will begin in September 2022. Grayslake Community Park District, in accordance with laws of the State of Illinois, hereby notifies all bidders that the work performed under this contract shall be in accordance with the provisions of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act 820 ILCS 130/01 et seq. The successful Bidders will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond upon award of the contract in the penal sum of the full amount of the Contract Price as described in the Bid Package. The successful bidder will be required to furnish certificates and policies of insurance evidencing the minimum insurance coverage and limits set forth in the bid package. Grayslake Community Park District shall be named therein as additional insureds. Insurance is to be held with insurers with an A.M. Best Rating of no less than seven and licensed to do business in the State of Illinois. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of the bids without consent of Grayslake Community Park District.
