2023 Roadwork Bid

For the following: Double Bituminous Seal Coat as per PUB 408 Section 470 Bidders are required to be PENNDOT prequalified in work described. Proof of prequalification is required with bid submittal. Township to Award any options based upon budget constraints. Bidders required to review project with Roadmaster. Contact Municipality at 484-239-7652 to arrange meeting date. Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $850.00 per calendar day. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Municipality. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to Hereford Township. All bids must be in a sealed envelope, clearly marked "2023 Roadwork Bid". A performance bond or certified check in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder within 20 days after the contract is awarded. Hereford Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any omissions, errors, mistakes and/or irregularities and to award in the best interest of the Township.
