| Description | Provide all labor, materials, equipment and supervision to do cleaning, surface preparation and recoating the exterior of three (3) treated water tanks at the Effluent Treatment Project (ETP), at the Savannah River Site. ETP is a Wastewater Treatment facility located on the Savannah River Site (SRS), a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) site located near Aiken, SC. Savannah River Remediation (SRR) operates ETP under contract to the DOE. ETP has three (3) Treated Water (TW) storage tanks each 30' high and 30' diameter (160,000 gallons). The tanks were installed in the mid-1980's and are approximately 30+ years old. The tanks were originally coated with epoxy primer and coating. The TW tanks are showing signs of deteriorating paint and some surface corrosion (rust). Recoating of the tanks is necessary to extend the life of the tanks and prevent further degradation. |
