Description

Shall furnish all labor, tools, supplies, and other facilities and means necessary or proper to lay in place the materials and perform operations as described, and to include all handwork and curbing as necessary for the completion of pavement in place, shimming in place, milling, reclaiming, and all related work. The contractor is responsible for setting the rough and final grading after reclaiming, so the roadway grades will shed storm water. Following reclaiming, the city will provide and deliver additional base materials if necessary. Raised structures must be painted in fluorescent orange paint following all milling or reclaiming operations. A water truck must be used as necessary to control dust following reclaiming until paving is complete. Paving end of run cold joints must be cut square and prepared with emulsion prior to beginning the new run.
