Description

CU Project No. W2891X Sealed Bids for furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, services, supervision, and necessary appurtenances for the construction of the Cleveland Utilities CFP Sodium Permanganate Conversion at Raw Water Intake Any bid mailed shall be sent to: Cleveland Utilities Water and Wastewater Division, Attention: Jon Sparkman, P.E., P.O. Box 2730, Cleveland, TN 37320-2730. Any bid sent by Fedex or similar company shall be sent to Cleveland Utilities, Attention: Jon Sparkman, PE, 2435 Guthrie Drive, N.W., Cleveland, TN, 37311. Contractor is fully responsible for making sure sealed bid is delivered to Cleveland Utilities by the closing date and time. The project will include: Furnishing and installing a 13-4 x 17-4 Masonry building with metal roof, reinforced concrete floor and sidewalk around building, chain link fence, 1,000 gallon HDPE storage tank, tank scale, metering pumps, piping, valves, HVAC, lights, and other associated items. All bidders must be licensed Contractors in compliance with all requirements of the State of Tennessee Contractors Licensing Act. The allotted time for construction is to be 120 consecutive calendar days. It is the policy of Cleveland Utilities to ensure compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; 49 CFR, Part 21; related statues and regulations to that end that no person shall be excluded from participation in or be denied benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance or any other funding source on the grounds of race, color, sex, national origin, or ancestry. By virtue of submitting a response to this solicitation, bidders agree to comply with the same non-discrimination policy. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of ninety (90) days after closing time scheduled for the receipt of bids.
