Tuck-point the brick masonry mortar joints 100%. Remove and replace displaced or cracked brick masonry. Patch failed and deteriorated stone masonry as directed by engineer. Tuck-point stone masonry joints 100%. Clean and apply a clear water repellent sealer to all stone, precast concrete and brick masonry. Rake back mortar within skyward stone-to-stone masonry joints and install backer rod and sealant at 100% of the skyward joints. Remove and replace window, door and vent perimeter caulking (masonry-to-metal) 100% Remove and replace control joint sealant. Lintel Cleaning and Painting (Detail 5/R5.1) Removal of all necessary brick masonry above to lintels expose existing Lintel. Provide adequate shoring to support remaining wall weight. Removal of masonry back up as necessary to fully expose lintel and for new flashing installation. Notify engineer 48 hours prior to removal of flashing. Engineer to inspect existing lintel to determine extent of replacement prior to window removal. Wire brush clean existing beam and lintel. Paint per specification section 09900. Install 2-piece stainless steel flashing with end dams. Install mastic at all overlaps and seams. A Minimum of 4 inch overlap. Reinstall masonry to match existing layout. Brick and mortar to match existing color and texture. Lintel Replacement: Remove and replace lintel as needed.
