Description

The City of Detroit, Office of Contracting and Procurement (OCP) on behalf of the Housing and Revitalization Department (HRD) requests proposals from qualified firms to provide Environmental Investigation services to include Lead-Based Paint Inspection/Risk Assessments (LIRA), lead clearance testing, elevated blood lead (EBL) environmental investigations, radon testing, mold inspections, asbestos testing and testing, other environmental investigations, inspections, and reporting as necessary to achieve compliance with federal, state, and local program, and code requirements. HRD utilizes multiple funding sources for its home repair programs including Federal (HUD - Community Development Block Grant, Healthy Homes Production and Lead Hazard Reduction), State of Michigan (MDHHS Medicaid Child Health Insurance Plan (CHIP) Lead Hazard Control) and City of Detroit (General Funds). Proposals will only be accepted from those firms demonstrating a minimum of five (5) years of experience providing the services requested in the RFP for projects of similar scope and size.
