Description | The referenced solicitation resulted in no award(s) made. The requirements may be re-advertised at a later date with revisions to the Scope of Work or Specifications. Project No: 20133 Replace existing ventilation system at the Central Materials Lab Sealed bids are invited for the construction of CML Ventilation Improvement Project (501-B1501-008) located at 6200 Elko Tract Road, Sandston, VA. The project is generally described as ventilation improvement work as indicated in the Contract Documents. Work includes but is not limited to new structural work including roof, new mechanical, and new electrical work and other work indicated in the Contract Documents. A five percent (5%) bid bond is required to accompany this bid. When required bid shall be accompanied by a Commonwealth of Virginia Standard Bid Bond, Form CO-10.2, payable to the Owner as obligee in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. Failure to submit the bid bond on the Commonwealth of Virginia Standard Bid Bond, Form CO-10.2 will result in the bid being considered non-responsive. (When bid bonds are requested, the awarded contractor will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bond.) Procedures for submitting a bid, claiming an error, withdrawal of bids and other pertinent information are contained in the Instructions to Bidders, which is part of the Invitation for Bids. Withdrawal due to error in bid shall be permitted in accord with Section 9 of the Instructions to Bidders and 2.2-4330, Code of Virginia. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The submission of a bid will be considered as conclusive evidence that the bidder has made such examination and/or is satisfied as to the conditions to be encountered in performing the work. Contractor registration is required in accordance with Section 54.1-1103 of the Code of Virginia. See the Invitation for Bids for additional qualification requirements. All executive branch agencies are directed to advance Executive Order 35, dated July 3, 2019. The submission of a bid will be considered as conclusive evidence that the bidder has made such examination and/or is satisfied as to the conditions to be encountered in performing the work. |
